A Victorian Day in Saratoga Derby Tour's newest and fastest growing activity Designed for those who are coming to Saratoga as part of a bus tour, or for a conference, this day has it all. We start with a tour of one of the mansions where we have pastries and tea or coffee. This is followed by a bus tour of the city. With so many fine restaurants in Saratoga, lunch can either be “on your own,” or we can recommend places where arrangements may be made for everyone to eat together. After lunch we visit the Saratoga Springs History Museum to see the exhibit “200 Hundred Years of Fashion.” The day ends with a tour, tea and pastries at a second mansion. The tours, excluding lunch, usually take about five hours, with everyone wishing the experience went on even longer.
Since the mansions are private properties the tours have to be arranged in advance. For those attending a convention or conference in the city, the bus tours can be replaced by a walking tour with car pooling to the mansions and museum. Note: All the venues have stairs and do not have elevators. Call us at 518-495-7012 or Click here for scheduling and rates. |
